Smartphone News
Typically I don't blog on news happening in the telecommunication industry, but heading into CTIA we have been bombarded with some big news stories. Here's the rundown:
- The biggest story, announced yesterday, is AT&T will be purchasing T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom in a cash-and-stock transaction currently valued at approximately $39 billion. This is of course if the feds approve of the deals. In doing so it will become the largest wireless carrier in the US.
