AT&T has made a corporate decision to end its "online dealer" program. What this means is that Your Smartphone Guy (as well as other online stores including Wirefly, Phonezip and all Simplexity partners) will no longer be allowed to promote AT&T online. AT&T's reason for this decision have to do with cost cutting and refocusing on their brand.
What we plan to do:
- On March 8, all pages, links, images, and references to AT&T will be removed from all YSG websites.
- No new orders for AT&T will be accepted after March 7.
- We will continue to take AT&T related Customer Service calls after March 7th, 2011 and address your customers needs accordingly.
- AT&T related web traffic arriving at our server will be redirected as needed so as to notify the customer that AT&T is no longer being offered.
The Future:
Here at YSG, we have been working extremely hard on new prepaid offerings that are slated to be rolled out fully in Q1 2011. All of these new product lines will be directly fulfilled, which in turn offers us more control over the entire customer experience. The next 1-2 years are going to be a very exciting time!

UPDATE:
As you know, AT&T terminated their online dealer program earlier this month. Because of this, our fulfillment partner companies, Simplexity and LetsTalk, were no longer allowed to sell AT&T products. Since then, we have been in discussions with AT&T and have been given the opportunity to sell directly through the AT&T website. You will notice AT&T links and products on the yoursmartphoneguy.com website today (including iPhone and iPad!). All AT&T products will be fulfilled and handled by AT&T themselves.
UPDATE: We are still in talks.
